Today's Featured Biography
Dennis Wisniewski
After graduation, I attended Bowling Green State University majoring in English with a minor in Phys. Ed. Met Sharon Sullivan, my wife of 45 yrs. in my freshman year. Sharon and I were married on June 26, 1965. My first year of teaching was in Stryker High School where I taught English for half the day and phys. ed for the other half. Even though I did not wrestle in high school, (big regret) I started Stryker's wrestling team from scratch. For better pay, I then taught in Defiance High School for the next four years where I coached football. During this time I went back to school and earned a Masters in Secondary Education and 22 more graduate hours, mostly in the educational field. Our first son, Jason, was born in 1970. In 1970 my wife was teaching 2nd grade in Bryan, Oh. An opening for an English teacher/football coach/and wrestling coach opened at Bryan High School, so I made my third and last switch. I also started Bryan's wrestling team from scratch and coached for the next 10 yrs., to 1980. I also was a wrestling official for 25 yrs. and had the best seat in the house for that sport. My second son, Justin, was born in 1974. When he started to wrestle, I retired from officiating to follow his career. I finished my teaching career at Bryan High School and retired in 1995 with 30 great years in education. In 1983, I invested into the rental business and am currently a landlord. It's been good--trying sometimes--- but good. I have all the property for sale; it's time to get out from under that commitment.
In 1973, I found Jesus, and He has become a huge part of my life. I'll bore you with the details of this life-changing decision only if you are interested.
My passion for scuba diving never left me, and I have been heavily engaged in that activity for 52 years. I went into underwater photography and eventually underwater video. Since I really love all three activities, I did a little marketing in my area and discovered that higher end video production work was not available between Ft. Wayne and Toledo, so I started Memory Maker Photography and Video Production and have been doing that since 1994 to the present. I do video work both in the consumer and corporate arenas. I'm a wedding and portrait photographer as well. It has really provided me with finances to travel the world pursuing my passion of diving and creating several documentaries of my adventures. I share these adventures using the video/lecture method with any interested organizations. As long as I'm able to get to the water, I will continue this activity.
My sons have given Sharon and me six grandkids (four girls and two boys) and we are having a great time being grandparents. Life Is Good! Hope to see you all at the 50th Reunion.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
