Ann Drotar Shaffer

There isn't much to say. I went to Alfred Tech partied and still managed to get my nursing degree. I was out of school for 1 semester working for a living and didn't like it so I went back to college Jan 1983. By Sept 1984 my dad's health got dad so I moved home to help my mom care for my dad. For that semester I comunited to school (SUNY Utica/ Rome). I completed my nursing requirements and eventuaally competed the libreal arts requirements to get my BSN.

I fell in love with the world's best husband, man, and dad. We married April 1987 and in Feb 1988 we had a daughter. Obviously not being able to figure out where they came from we had our son Dec 1989.

I worked as a communityhealth nurse for 12 years and that isw my true nursing "love".

In 2001 I was diagnosised with Multiple Sclerois so had to find a job that didn't require driving. So I became a teltphonic nurse case manager. I am very fortunate, after a particularly bad spell my company arranged for me to work from home 4 days a week and go into the office Tuesdays.

The kids keep us busy they have been playing soccer since they were 5 years old and my husband has always coached their teams. Summer soccer season gets interesting! Then that leads into school soccer. Liz is our goalie, but blew out her ACL tendon in her knee and had to have surgery this fall to fix it. We are working to get it to 100%.
Joe plays defense and does very well. Int the awards he got the "tough guy" award _ i asked if that meant the player most likely to be carded!

Otherwise my life is probably similiar to all of yours day to day.
