Today's Featured Biography
Lori Uderitz Zeno
I moved to Long Island, New York, in 1987 after finishing Law School. I have spent my entire career here, representing the poor. I began as a public defender for the New York Legal Aid Society, and after 10 years, formed my own law firm. I practice in Queens, New York, and again represent the poor. My firm contracts with New York City, to represent 20,000 indigent clients, charged with criminal offenses, per year.
I recently opened my own art studio, with my life partner, Craig, called "Heartworks Studio". As the name indicates, we do paintings and other artwork, centered around the theme of "hearts". (after 20 years of fighting in courtrooms, I needed to do something peaceful!!!)
I was married in 1988, and divorced in 2005. I have two children, Zachary and Zoe. They are 15 and 13 now. They are the joys of my life, and keep me very busy!!!
Thankfully, I get to visit Brockport quite often, as my family still lives there. After all of these years, I still get homesick every now and then! Thanks to this website, maybe I can get in contact with some old friends, and enjoy a visit on one of my trips back home!!!!
