Since graduation, I have obtained two Bachelor's degrees, one in Biology, the other in Nursing. I have worked at University Hospital since 1996, in pediatrics, and currently am a transport/charge nurse in the pediatric ICU of the Golisano Children's Hospital here in Syracuse.
My husband of 5 years and I live in Fayetteville, NY where we have been restoring an 1890's farmhouse. Since meeting my husband 10 years ago, I have discovered a love for hiking, kayaking and camping (in a tent in the woods). We make a yearly trek to Acadia National Park in Maine, and have fallen in love with the state. Our plan is to retire and move to the Bar Harbor, Maine area in approximately 10 to 15 years. We haven't been blessed with children, but have 2 spoiled rotten cats named Sasha and Neblina. They have become our "kids".
I worked as a paramedic at Baldwinsville Ambulance for about 11 years, and loved it! Geography and a busy work schedule caused me to give it up, but I hope to go back to it someday.
My folks are still living in B'ville, so I make the trek there frequently. My brother Scott and his wife Jessica, live in Meadville, PA, which is outside Pittsburg.
I am still in touch with a few friends from high school, and because of Facebook, have reconnected with many more.
