Michelle Wafer

Hello everyone and welcome to my profile. Thank you Beverly for making this page possible. I am truly amazed by the lack of effort on behalf of the Baldwinsville School District with regards to NOT creating a social networking page for their Alumni. How many years behind the times do they care to remain?

Through triumph over tragedy, I have awoken to the greater beauty in life. Not only is my time EXTREMELY important to me; but more importantly the people whom I come into contact with. I cherish each and every minute here on Earth and have learned not to let the "little things" bother me [as much, hey I am not perfect!;)]. Although driving along the Freeways out here in Cali can test even the most patient of people! ;D

Difficult challenges present themselves in our life not intended to define us; but to provide us with experiences for which to learn from. We all experience difficult times throughout our course in life and we should look at these times as opportunities, not problems. A Tibetan Prayer that I found helpful: "Grant that I may be given appropriate difficulties and sufferings on this journey so that my heart may be truly awakened and my practice of liberation and universal compassion may be truly fulfilled." It is felt that when life is too easy, there are fewer opportunities for genuine growth. Life is way too short to hold hatred in your heart. People are A-L-W-A-Y-S more important than positions. Consider all of your relationships on loan AND seek to preserve the relationship first.

Since my Brother/Friend was assassinated, I dropped out of College and never returned. I wanted to, but life became too chaotic for me and my family and MY priorities were placed on the back burner. Life had a different plan for me than what me or my family had intended. I had always led an active lifestyle. My Father had Boxed in the US Army and High School and was always showing us kids "techniques". Throughout all of the chaos, I found comfort in the Martial Arts which led me toward the path of Fitness and my current goal in life which is to provide all persons the tools necessary to live a healthier, happier and longer life.
