Shelly Selle Krohn
GEE-FOR THE LAST FORTY YEARS I HAVE BEEN BUSY. RIGHT OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL I WENT TO EASTERN MONTANA FOR THREE YEARS BUT DIDN'T FINISH BEFORE I MARRIED DON KROHN, ALSO A 1970 GRAD. WE THEN MOVED TO JAPAN, WHERE DON WAS IN THE AIR FORCE. OUR SON ALAN WAS BORN THERE AND WE BROUGHT HIM HOME IN JUNE OF 1975. WE SPENT THE NEXT YEAR IN BILLINGS AND I STARTED SCHOOL AGAIN.
IN AUGUST OF 1976, MY HUSBAND GOT A JOB WITH U.S. CUSTOMS. WE WERE THEN MOVED TO CHICAGO. WE SPENT TWO YEARS IN CHICAGO, OF COURSE, WE LIVED IN THE SUBURBS. AFTER CHICAGO, WE MOVED TO THE NORTH DAKOTA/MINNESOTA/CANADIAN BORDER. IN NOVEMBER 1979, WE THEN MOVED TO ANCHORAGE, ALASKA. WE WERE LATER DIVORCED BUT HAVE REMAINED FRIENDS.
I GOT A JOB WITH THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE AND AFTER MANY YEARS OF SERVICE, I HAVE HAPPILY RETIRED TO LAS VEGAS, NEVADA.
I ENJOYED MOTHERHOOD BUT BEING A GRAMMA TO MY EIGHT GRANDKIDS IS TERRIFIC.
THERE ARE THREE GIRLS AGES 13,9 AND 4.
THE FIVE BOYS ARE 13, 8,7,5 AND 2.
THEY ARE WONDERFUL KIDS AND I LOVE SPOILING THEM.
MY DAUGHTER AND HER FOUR CHILDREN HAVE MOVED TO VEGAS WITH MY PARTNER AND I SO WE GET TO ENJOY THEM ALL THE TIME.
