Today's Featured Biography
Paula Denowh Huffman
I am a happily married mother of seven children, grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 2, in April.
Haven't been to any reunions except my husband's so I am looking forward to the one this summer. After seeing all the pictures and remembering all the people it does make me want to reconnect. My biography would be very long and I don't want to bore you with 50 years of it so I'll be brief.
I was in Billings for about nine years after graduation and moved to Great Falls where I have been since 1979.
In a nutshell: Married Don Schutz in 1971, drugs, sex, and bad news, divorce in 1980. I trusted my life to Jesus in 1981, married a Christian man with 4 children in 1981 and had 3 more children soon after. The marriage and children were & continue to be my heart's desire. The Lord just keeps getting better and blessing our family more every year! I can't wait to hear all of your stories.
My husband is a rock star and I love his singing and guitar playing and follow him all over as his most reverent groupie! Handsome Jim is the band's name. He worked at the USPS for 16 yrs ending his career as PostMaster of the Babb, MT PO. Moved back to GF and we owned and operated Quality Quick Print for 10 years. He now works at Malmstrom AFB as a Graphic Designer in the Services Dept. I went to college and got an Assoc. Degree in Computer Technology in 2000. Worked at Davidson Co. for 9 yrs when I decided to switch to the medical field. My first adventure was being a phlebotomist at Bio-Life. I liked the field so I went back to school, and got my Medical Coding Certificate at the end of July 2008. My youngest son, Casey, 28, and I both graduated with high honors from MSU GF in 2008.
I got to watch my youngest daughter's son be born in Denver on June 14th, 2010. It was awesome. Went to Maui in Aug to visit our 2nd daughter. I loved Hawaii, she had a bathtub on her outdoor patio!!
I worked for a Naturopathic Doctor for a couple years and learned a ton about health. Worked at GF/Benefis Orthopedic Associates for a few years then quit to spend more time with grandkids. I decided to work just a few days a week at Feather Your Nest, in Great Falls (just for the fun of it) for 3-4 years until May of 2018. I retired to help care for my 2 and 4 yr old grandsons and their twin brother and sister, born 8/10/18. It was wild and crazy but I loved every minute. The twins are so adorable and the boys so fun! I've been back to Meridian, ID to stay with them a week at a time several times in the last couple years. Nothing like watching the kiddles! I’m still loving being a stay at home wife and grandmother. So excited to meet our 2nd great-grand-daughter, expected 4/20/20. My husband, Gary, and I will celebrate our 39th anniversary this October. God is so good!!!
