Today's Featured Biography
Joan McFerran Obert
I was born and raised in Billings and attended West High for two years.
Between my junior and senior year, my family moved to Ventura, CA, where I graduated from Buena High School. I attended Ventura Junior College for a short time, and I decided to move back to Montana.
Upon my return, I attended MSU in Bozeman, majoring in Business Administration.
I married in 1978, but am now divorced.
I have two wonderful sons, Ryan, 19 years old, who is attending MSU in Bozeman, and Kevin, 18 years old, who will graduate from Skyview High school this spring, and he will be attending college this fall in the field of chemical engineering.
I worked for my family in a farm & industrial equipment business in Billings. While married, my ex-husband and I owned a trucking business in Billings, along with farming.
In 1996 I divorced and have since worked for a transportation broker in Billings as a dispatcher.
