Today's Featured Biography
Shannon Shaw Coleman
My parents still live in Kansas City, but I have lived in Fishers, Indiana for the past 10 years.
I graduated with a degree in Marketing and secondary education from Rockhurst University and received a Masters Degree in Secondary Education from Pittsburg State University. After college, I had the great opportunity to work for a AAA Baseball Team in Colorado Springs, in the Marketing Department. It was a chance of a lifetime and an experience I'll never forget.
After I moved back to Kansas City, I worked as a sales rep. for Russell Stover Candies, followed by 6 years as a teacher at Blue Valley Northwest High School in Overland Park.
My husband and I got married in 1999 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Kansas City, then moved to Indy. In Indianapolis, I worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Merck before having children.
My kids are 6,4,and 3 and now my days are spent running around town with them. It's a great time and I love being a mom. I hope everyone is doing well and a special hello to those fun former Jaywalkers. I'm hoping to make it back to Kansas City for the reunion. I am sad to say, I haven't kept in touch with anyone from RHS in the class of 1988.
**On a side note, Rusty Kimmet, class of 1987, use to live about 5 minutes from us here in Fishers. We cheered on the Chiefs, unless they were playing the Colts!**
