After graduating from Moberly Junior College in 1968, I finished my degree in Business Administration at Northeast Missouri State College in Kirksville, graduating from there in 1970. I joined the Missouri State Highway Patrol on May 1,1971, and after training, was stationed in Troop A at Odessa in Lafayette County. I was promoted to corporal in 1978 and transferred to Grain Valley in Jackson County. I was promoted to sergeant in 1981 and remained assigned to Jackson County. I transferred back to Lafayette County in 1982 when a new zone was created due to manpower needs. In 1993, I became the Office Manager for Troop A Headquarters, located in Lee's Summit. In February of 2002, I was promoted to lieutenant in Troop D and relocated to Springfield. I was the Administrative Operations Director while assigned to Troop D. It is from this position I retired on May 1, 2007.
On June 10, 2006, Judy and I were married and we currently live in Springfield. Judy retired March 1, 2011, from her position as a Driver Examiner Supervisor with the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
We plan to travel, spoil the grandkids, and just try to enjoy our lives as best we can in the coming years.
I have two children from my first marriage. Brad is the oldest and he and his wife, Tracey, and son, Hunter live in Eureka, Mo. My daughter, Valerie, her husband, Matt, son Logan Michael, and daughter Aria Nicole, live in Newnan,Georgia.
Judy's daughter, Jamayla Davis, her husband, Jeff, and their two boys, Paxton and Jaxon, also live in Springfield.
I thank God every day for my good health, for making it to retirement without being injured, and for my family and friends.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
