Today's Featured Biography

 

Michelle Griebenow Collopy

Graduated from RCC in 1982 in nursing (RN) and moved to LaCrosse, Wi, Married Gary Collopy 6/4/1983, in Rochester. Lived in LaCrosse and Prairie du Chien Wisc. Daughter Erin was born in 1987 and the family moved to Inver Grove Heights MN in 1988. Michelle worked as an RN for Health Counseling Services. Gary for ISD 199, as a teacher. Mike was born in 1992. Michelle competed in the Mrs. Minnesota Pag. in 1997-98 representing Inver Grove Heights. She returned to school to obtain her BSRN and worked at Dakota Hills Middle School but fell in love with teaching. She continued at Metro State/Bemidji but in the teaching program and graduated with a BS in Education/Social Studies from Bemidji State in 2002. Michelle is currently teaching 8th grade geography at Inver Grove Heights Middle School. LOVES her job as she really never left Jr High. Erin is now attending Minnesota Cosmetology School and will graduate this summer. Mike is a senior at Simley High where Gary teaches. Gary and Michelle can see each other EVERYDAY at lunch...he HATES that, when possible~she flirts with him and makes him buy her lunch! He was almost transferred to her building this year~ oh that would just kill him. 24/7 with Michelle!

They celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary two years ago with a 7 day trip to Sandals/Jamaica. They highly recommend it!

My main hobby~ teasing Gary! He HATES that~ she thinks it's tons of fun!!

Goal in life~ to tour the world.
