2024 class picnic will be held on WEDNESDAY Aug 14 2024. At 12 AM and eating at 1:00. The picnic will take place at Central Park, 85th and Regent Ave., Brooklyn Center. (Same park as in the past.) The cost will be $15.00 per person. The meal will be catered as last year. Paper plates, silverware,coffee water and soft drinks will be provided. Any questions call Jerry Andresen at 763-561-5496.

Today's Featured Biography
Abby Arthur Johnson
My husband Ron and I completed graduate school at the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana and have been teaching ever since. While we are both currently at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., I previously taught in the Departments of English at Howard University and Cleveland State University. High points in our family life with three sons included experiences as a Fulbright family for one year in Tromso, Norway (above the Arctic Circle), and for another year in Denmark, where we lived on a traditional Danish farm in the village of Draeby. These experiences had a considerable impact on our three sons, two of whom currently live and work in Australia (teaching and marketing, respectively). We are pleased that our son Adam and his wife, along with their two lovely daughters, live near our home in the Washington, D.C., area. I have been reading with great pleasure the biographical information provided by classmates and am very much looking forward to our forthcoming reunion.
