Dear Mighty Lions,
Greetings and hope everyone is well! Here are the details for the upcoming reunion.
Main event: Saturday, October 7th, 2023
Location: Pizza Village, 2340 Kaliste Saloom Road, Lafayette, LA 70508
Start time: 12:15 pm
(The food and drinks will be “Dutch” plus a $5 upcharge per person.
More details and menu to follow closer to October 6-7 th )
Accommodations for those traveling from out of town:
Townhome Place Suites by Marriott - Lafayette South (less than 1 mile from the venue)
119 Lake Farm Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508
If there are 10 rooms reserved by September 15, 2023 (make sure to mention LHS 60th Class reunion) a
Group Rate discount (2 night minimum) will be awarded. It is recommended that you call the local number

Worked mostly in the Oilfield since graduation. Also worked in computer sales and service for 11 years. Married to Donna Mitchell from Beaumont Tx in 1971. One child - Jonathan (1985)who graduated from LHS in 2003. Graduated from ULL in 2007 and moved to Houston after graduation working at NASA as an Electrical Engineer.
Plan to work for a couple more years at Halliburton then retire. We enjoy traveling. I have been to Saudi Arabia twice with Halliburton working in the desert on two different drilling rigs. Work mostly in the Gulf of Mexico but have worked in Utah, Colorado, and west Texas twice. I work for Halliburton's Project Management section. We are Well Site Service Leaders that help the management on rigs do all the logistics for personnel and all equipment.
