Was it only
yesterday we said "Hi" in the hallway or shared the same class?
Was it only yesterday we talked on the phone or crammed for a test?
Was it only yesterday we held our diplomas and said our good-
byes? Was it only yesterday we heard of your passing? And, we cried because you are still a part of our hearts.

We would like to hear from you. Post your messages here.
After graduation I attended USL one year, then transferred to LSU nursing program. I quit in 1960. Went to work at Petroleum Helicopters, Inc., then the Petroleum Club and Mallard Well Service, Inc. all as a secretary, bookkeeper. While working in the Oil Center I met Tom the first day he arrived to work for a company, across the street. 4 months later we were married (June 30, 1964). I was happy to be a stay at home wife, mother and volunteer.
I got my Real Estate Broker License after moving to Sugar Land in 1975. After the children and grandchildren were grown I decided to go back to college and get my Nursing degree. I graduated from Houston Baptist University in 1995. Worked 10 years then retired.
We had our first born April 19, 1965, Anna Lavaun. She is a minister, dancer and leadership instructor. She and David have 4 children, Zachary 24, graduated from Belhaven College in Jackson, MS, then joined the Navy. Jacob 22,join Navy, Sarah 21, attend Belhaven College, married to a Marine and has one baby. And last, Daniel 20, a Marine in Afghanistan.
Andrew Fullen, born March 7, 1968, lives in Dayton, Ohio, with his wife and daughter, Lily age 10. Andrew has a degree in Art from UL, but has decided to go back to college for a degree in science education. Takes some of us a while to know what we want in life.
In 1975 we moved to Sugar Land, TX where Tom worked for Brown and Root, then in 1980 decided to start his own company and become a consultant, Now retired.
In 1996, we purchased a 100 acres in Needville, TX a small town just outside of Houston, so our grandchildren could own horses, cows, chickens, etc. Our daughter and family built a home on the land and the next year we built our home there. We are about 600 feet apart. So nice being so close.
Country life is and has been so great.
