FRANK ANDERSON, PHS CLASS OF 1963, passed on ahead of us on August 11th, 2022. The only other information I have is that Frank was the owner of FRANK ANDERSON TIRE CO. INC., Columbus, IN.

I married Carol (class of 65) in August 1967 and just celebrated our 45th anniversary. Upon graduation from Purdue in 1968 I entered the Army where we moved quite often and saw parts of the world we never imagined we could see. I left active duty in 1979 and worked for Chrysler Defense Engineering in development of the M1 Abrams tank. After working for a short while with General Dynamics I resigned and went to work for the U.S. Government at Fort Knox in research and developent of new guns and weapon systems. At the same time I served in the U.S. Army Reserve retiring in 1998 after 30 years of service. Carol and I had our first son, Chad, in 1979 (after giving up hope of having any). He graduated from the University of Illinois and is now married to Jamie (a teacher) with our first grand daughter, Gabrielle Quinn Butler (6 yrs old)and grandson, Gavyn Michael (3 yrs old). We had our second son, Jeffrey, in 1983. He graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2006 and is employed by Humana in Louisville, Kentucky. He finished his MBA at UK and is now completing the exams for Certified Public Accountant. Carol retired from the Hardin County Schools System in the Family Resource Center on 1 Jul of this year. I retired from the U.S. Government in 2007 and began working for Vertical Horizons One doing the strategic planning for the relocation of units into and out of Fort Knox resulting from the Base Realignment and Closure Committee decisions. We still get to Peru on occasion although frequency of visits has slowed because of our many local commitments. We both have family and friends there and get back as often as we can. I regret not having made the last reunion but hope to see all at the 2013 reunion. If anyone wishes to call or email me to relive old stories please feel free to call or write anytime. Also if you are passing nearby please do stop in and visit. I would be more than happy to visit and show you some of the local sites. Until then my very best wishes for each one of you until we meet again.
