      Today's Featured Biography

	Bonnie Hudson Wright

I was widowed in 2002 when my wonderful husband, H. Frank Wright, died of lung cancer. We had cruised the West Coast of Mexico and the Sea of Cortez, living on our 44-ft boat from the time we were married in 1995 until 2001. After Frank's death I sold our beloved boat and bought a manufactured home in Chula Vista, where I live with my two cats.
With my first husband, Jerry Watkins, also deceased, I have one son, Capt. John S. Watkins, U.S. Army National Guard who served a year in Iraq and was awarded a Bronze Star for his work there. He is a Physician's Assistant and is currently employed by a major HMO hospital in San Diego. He has three children, Kalani (10), Kellie (8) and Dylan Thomas (2).

After starting out life as an art major, I finally graduated from University of California, Irvine in 1985 with a B.A. in Psychology and earned a Masters in Human Resources Mangement and Development at Chapman University in 1989.

I worked in the advertising business and in human resources management and development. After living in Mexico, I returned to work in 2003 with a government contractor firm that makes repairs on U.S. Navy ships.

I am also involved in a start-up business with a some friends; we will design, manufacture and sell a personal-use mini glass blowing studio that we plan to have on the market by next January. And I plan to learn to blow glass.

Recently I joined a group to support a ballot initiative to prevent my city's government from practicing eminent domain against private property owners in favor of developers' financial gain.

For fun, I read, go for walks by the bay and go boating; I love decorating, cooking and travelling. Eventually I hope to return to Mexico, perhaps to write and take up art work again.

Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
