Today's Featured Biography
Ruth Staehle Zielinski
I have been married to Bill for 46 years, and have spent most of that time (the past 31 years) in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Bill was in the Navy, and we moved to Virginia in 1962, and down to Florida in 1976.
Both of us are retired and make the most of our time together.
About 6 years ago, I took up watercolor painting as a hobby, and really enjoy it. If you are on my Christmas list, that was one of my paintings on our Christmas card.
We've done some traveling throughout the USA, and hope to do another long trip like we did in 1999 where we wandered over the upper half of the US. There are still some places in the middle of the country (like Colorado, etc.) that we haven't seen, and if our health is good, plan on doing that part of the country after our 50th reunion in 2009.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at that 50th reunion.
Update 1/3/08
Well, Guys, about a week after I wrote the above 'bio', Bill was taken to the hospital, and he died a week later. I've been coping with all of the things that have to be done with such a situation, and feel that most of the time, I'm doing OK. I am keeping busy and I know that life must go on, so again, I'm looking forward to seeing all of you in 2009.
