After graduating from The University of Iowa I moved back to the farm and worked for Cessford Construction for nearly 5 years - had a large lapse in judgement and a brief marriage at that time. In 1997 shortly after the sudden death of my Dad and realizing how short life is, I rectified the mistake and Mom, my sister Kris and her family and I all moved to Henderson, Nevada. I met Joe in 1999 and we married at The Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego in 2003. We lost Mom unexpectedly a year ago and it has been extremely hard - my sister Kim and brother-in-law Dave moved here from Minneapolis last March as we needed family together to help get through the loss of Mom. We have a great time together and time does help in healing wounds. We love to travel A LOT - we have visited Europe, China, Mexico and many locations across the US multiple times in the past 6 years. No trips planned until next year as I am busy with the opening of our newest property Encore on December 22 (visit www.wynnlasvegas.com for previews!!!!!!!!!!!!) Would love to see anyone when they visit Las Vegas - and have some great insider tips to share! :)
