I have never been to a class reunion and rarely see anyone from our class. So this is actually mildly exciting to be able to communicate this way with former classmates, even though I'm convinced many will not remember me. That's okay, I barely remember who I was way back then. Right now, having been a former chef, house painter (in college), high school history teacher and stay-at-home dad, I am a substance abuse counselor with a private agency outside of Wilmington. I enjoy my work and it keeps me on my toes, having survived a horrendous addiction myself (15 years sober, by the grace of God). I feel currently blessed in my life with a wonderful wife, Pam, a Phd Researcher who is currently the Supervisor for Assessment and Accountability for the Christina School District. She is also a former teacher who hails from Indiana. She came to Delaware to be on the faculty at the U of D, my alma mater, having finally graduated in 1997. I was on the 20 year plan, a fact that owns alot to that pesky addiction I mentioned before. We have a son, Thomas, who will enter the second grade in the fall, and an adopted daughter Taylor, age 3, whom we brought home from Vladivostok, Russia in April of 2006 (what an adventure and emotional roller coaster). We recently left our smaller home in Newark and moved into Mendenhall Village in Hockessin. We are very happy here and look forward to many years in our current abode. As you can see, I am a late bloomer, but as they say, good things are worth waiting for, and I couldn't have planned my life any better. I tend to focus on the future, rather than regret the past, and my young children encourage me to stay healthy and help me to feel younger than my 48 years.
If you have shots of interest to the class post them on Picasa, Flickr, etc.. with the tag "BHS77".

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
