2025 - 6:00 pm

Hors d'oevres, dinner, and dejay are included in the cost. There will be a cash bar.
We have reserved some rooms at the Doubletree on Concord Pike at a group rate but they have only saved a small number so make a reservation as soon as possible. Confirmation id is BHS Class of 1965 Sixtieth Reunion.
We are starting to collect money. Send your check for $105 per person payable to Leslie Collins at 29 Abby Rd, Millsboro, DE 19966. Please put name of attendee(s) at the bottom of the check.
We also have set up Zelle at the bank where Leslie has maintained an account for this purpose. The telephone number attached to the account is 302-218-4201.

OTHER ACTIVITIES
We are working on having something very informal on Wednesday evening. No golf event because, well, we are getting older and more arthritic.
On Friday, we will have a "Tour de Brandywine" in Chadds Ford starting with the Brandywine River Museum (Wyeth Art), then the Brandywine Battle Field, and concluding with libations and dinner at The Crown pub on Rte 202 south of Rte 1. Attend just one or do all three. There will be fees associated with the museum and battlefield and dinner is on you. But there will be lots of laughs and reminiscing. More details in early August.
Joanne Rash Hadley has kindly invited all to her house on Heather Rd in Heatherbrook just north of BHS for Friday evening. Details will be forthcoming.

OTHER CLASSES
A number of folks from BHS '64 and '66 have expressed interest in attending. They are welcome to all of our events. If they have not registered on this, they should do so with their email address, so we can continue to communicate with them. Personal information is never released without the permission of the individual.
------------------------------------
IMPORTANT!
Registering:
Step 1. First, we need to "know who you are." All BHS '65ers are listed on this site, but they need to LogIn. Many of their companions are also "Registered" and can proceed to log in. If this is their first visit, they need to Register for the site. Forget your password? We all do. The site will send it to your email address.
It's free and "grants you full rights and privileges pertaining thereto". Jay Hockenbury can expand on that. Click the box on the upper right-hand side of the web-page. So now we "know you."
Step 2. Near the bottom left of page you can indicate your intention to attend the gala. It's easy. Click "Register on Line"
Then see if you name is on the list. (note you may have to log-off and log-in again for that attendance box to update).

Take a look at the Class Awards from June 1965. We were missing the names of quite a few recipients at the 50th reunion, but now a dozen names have been added. There are still a few blanks. Can you help us fill them in?
I was scribbling them down as fast as Committee folks would name them. A few typos, I fear.

Your participation is requested!
We would like to hear from you. Post your messages here.
Your most memorable moment(s)at BHS: The pep rallies and football & basketball games
Your most harrowing/embarrassing experience: ALMOST got caught smoking in the girls room!
-- [Ed note: close only counts in horseshoes and grenades, Sue]
What kind of trouble did you get yourself into? None
What was your overall impression about high school? Why did we have to take so many courses that have no bearing on life in general. Great place to watch boys!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
