I'm sure that I am not the only one who wonders how 50 years could go by so quickly. But what a grand ride this is!
After graduating from the University of Illinois, I spent the summer living with the flower children in the Haight Ashbury in San Francisco. Sigh....I took my first job teaching in Fremont, California and lived with other singles in Oakland. Married Peter right after he got back from Viet Nam and moved to Texas (egads!), then north Denver and then Palo Alto. Danica was born at Stanford Hospital in the heat wave of 1976, the day after my 32nd birthday. What a gift! 4 years later moved to Fort Collins for a few years. Then on to Seattle and working with ADHD kids and adults with great success. Next came the east coast near Washington DC. Moved to Germany for a glorious 7 years, and our daughter stayed on for many more. I didn't realize it in all that time and all of those adventures, but I was practicing my skill/gift as an energy healer. Back in the DC area now, I am doing energy work and seminars on healing full time. Never have I felt more peaceful, more expanded and more grateful.
One of my greatest joys of late is working for Hospice, doing healing work with the patients and their families. This palliative care has become my specialty as I develop and present "Loving Shift" trainings, where participants learn to easily feel and direct their life force energy. I will soon be moving back to Colorado where my heart lies and my passion will continue.
