Today's Featured Biography
James (Jimmie) Matheson
Whoa,
Let's see ... wandered for a few years: the Sierras (Yosemite & Lake Tahoe); Tucson, Arizona; the SF Bay Area and the Redwood Coast; back down to SD (out past Jamul, near Dulzura); and finally landed here in San Francisco for the last 28 years - with travels all over the world: Central & South America; Australia and the South Pacific; Viet Nam; Bali; Greece and Italy.
I spent a lot of years in the lost & found department, conducting a lot of research in Everything in General and Nothing in Particular.
Finally I found a couple of things that Usually Work Pretty Well and continue to "Practice Them in All My Affairs."
My oldest son and I lost track of each other for several years. But we finally reconnected a couple of years ago and that's all okay now. His mother and I have "buried the hatchet," though she doesn't understand why I don't wanna "...get together for a cup of coffee and hang out." If she was me, she might.
I was a gardener for over 20 years, then went back to school and while earning my undergraduate degree, I was offered an opportunity to become a Facilities Coordinator here at SF State University.
My ride to the office takes me along The Great Highway, so I can check the surf and see if I should call in sick, or keep on going into work. Usually, I make it to my desk without too many regrets.
I'm contemplating grad school, but I gotta put my youngest son through college first.
My wife, Erica, has been (as my dear mother STILL swears) the best thing that has ever happened to me. We celebrate 25 years of marriage this March; 28 years as lovers last December; and over 30 years as friends a couple of summers ago.
Life is good most of the time and when it isn't ... well, a good night's sleep usually helps.
If anyone who remembers me from highschool is still alive, just keep in mind: we were just kids back then and really didn't know any better.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
