Today's Featured Biography
Nancy Taylor (Walery) Gee
In years past you may have known me as Nancy Walery. I am celebrating 38 years as a Sacramento real estate professional. My experience in the industry includes hundreds of home sales, Title & Escrow administrative experience, Property Management and Relocation Director.
In 1967 Tony Walery of our class and I married and we had three beautiful children. In 1987 we divorced and began new lives in different locations. Tony lives in San Diego and I returned to Sacramento. My oldest, Michelle has been married 20 years this year, and we have two gorgeous grandchildren. Michelle resides on the island of Macau, not far from Hong Kong and is the owner/director of an International Montessori School for children 2 years to 5 years old. Her husband is a helicopter pilot and instructor for a private company there. My oldest son, Jerry resides here in Sacramento and is a Sales Manager for Performance Chevrolet on Madison Avenue. My youngest son resides, and works for Sherman Williams Paints in San Diego. Neither of the sons has married, but I am still holding out hope.
In 1997 my very first love and I reunited. We met at Alhambra Bowl when I was 13 and he was 15, just before my Freshman year at Elk Grove. Much history and many years had passed, yet we married in 1999. We have spent 14 wonderful years of travel to Europe, Asia, Africa, Azores Islands, Russia, Canada, Mexico and other locations throughout the world, as well as traveled the US. Traveling is our passion. Michael is a graduate of Berkeley with a PhD and is a Senior Hydrologic Engineer. Neither of us has quite decided on a retirement date, but I would venture to guess it isn’t too far in the future. We've just moved in to a new home in Springfield @ Whitney Oaks in Rocklin. A fantastic community for us "Seniors", tons of activities, with beautiful views of the valley.
