Today's Featured Biography
John Farran
Rhonda Anderson and I were married in Bisbee at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in 1970. Three months later, I was deployed to Viet Nam. Upon my return to the states and completion of my military service, we relocated to Silver City, NM,and I began my 38 year career with Phelps Dodge/FMI. Except for a year in Morenci and 2 and 1/2 years in Chile, SA., we lived in Silver. Our two sons were born, raised and graduated from S.H.S. in Silver City. In 2000, I accepted a position in Miami,Az as Mine Maintenance Superintendent, and Rhonda retired from a 20 plus year career as a Radiologic technologist. We bought a small retirement home in Roosevelt Lake, Az. Our sons and grandchildren eventually migrated to the Phoenix metro area.... they're only two hours away! We have four grandsons, four granddaughters, and one great-grandson! In 2009, I retired from FMI. I continue to write, produce and sing songs in my studio at home. I already have four CD's! We enjoy fishing and water sports with the kids on the lake. We appreciate every day we spend with them, our friends, and especially... each other! We're still in Roosevelt!! Come and see us!
