Today's Featured Biography
Terry Logsdon
After GW I moved back to Va Beach where I grew up. I got degrees in Computer Science, Masters in both hardware and software (yeah it took 7 years). After school I continued playing guitar in (a lot of) bands and spent many years touring and making a couple of albums (yes, vinyl) with The Corey Langley Band and then my own band The Sharks. I was able to stay unmarried until my 30's, but as with most, I had to dive in. At that point I went into the computer world; DEC, IBM, Glaxo, Sieble Systems. I found my travels were keeping me away from my wife and kids so I took a job as the Systems Administrator for the Durham Fire Department as head of IT. But I have continued to play guitar/vocals in bands and am now with The Core, a classic rock band... I have 3 acres in Durham, mostly wooded. We have a pet bird (a Budgie) that lets us live there with him, (he never shuts up and with about a 350 word vocabulary, it can be noisey at times). My daughter Erin (22) went to UNC at Charlotte, NC for as a Dance major and really is quite good. We talked her into going back to add another degree, a BA in business (so she can run her own studio). My son Trevor (16) is a junior in high school with a strong music background. He wants to be a music teacher. He has become quite the actor, sings in the concert choir; (his class won the state finals and went to Disney World this spring 2006 to compete and out of 45 groups they took the gold! I got to go and play guitar for the show! They performed songs by The Who, Queen, Styx and others so I fit right in). My lovely, actually gorgeous, wife works with Schwarz Pharma as a CTA and is working on the Nepro Patch for Parkinson's disease. They are very close to getting in the US as they have it now in Europe. Now days I am so busy that I don't have time to think, but when I do I remember the fun days at the Top Of The Hill and all the great times at GW... I hope to see you all at the next reunion...
