Loss of Diana Dombrowski
We lost another classmate on Jan 5, 2023. Diana Dombrowski Sullivan passed away peacefully at home from cancer. I remember her as kind, friendly and always easy to talk to.

Today's Featured Biography
Lynn Ossmann Isherwood
Yes, I met this guy 10 days after graduation. Married a year and half later, followed him through college, grad school, couple of jobs, then back to the existing farm. Built our own house, raised the kids, and here we are with our son on the farm, vegetables (potatoes, sweet corn, peas, field corn, yes irrigated). Daughter went on to journalism for a career, some time in Milwaukee and now at the University of Missouri teaching.
We take our vacations near home, we kayak on the stream a quarter mile south, enjoy camping on the farm, having friends over for numerous meals in the shade of the house, I actually raise chickens for eggs!
So that's how you change from a city girl to a country woman, honored at the Farm Technology Days last year as a Pioneer Woman, for dedication to agriculture and the family farm in our county.
And I learned to drive the big potato trucks in the field, how to grade potatoes for 4 or 5 months every year, grow a big garden, make a great potato salad ... but my best accomplishment is my wild grape wine. They grow all over the farm and over the years I've perfected the process and usually produce 200 bottles a year! It's a great sideline.
