SPHS Receives Tree from Class of 72
Remaining proceeds from our 40th class reunion last year were donated to the Sun Prairie High School. The funds will be used to plant a cucumber magnolia tree at the old school site. Thanks

Today's Featured Biography
Lynne Hein Cuplin
I remained in SP until 1977 and then moved to Rockford, IL, where I married David Salley. We moved to Lena, IL in 1979 and had our two wonderful children, Megan and Kyle. I was fortunate enough to be an at-home mom for 12 years. I got to do all the fun things like be a room-mother, scout leader, den mother, Sunday School teacher. All the things I would be too tired to do now!!
I then went to work at a local bank for 7 years, before getting my current job at the Freeport Police Department, where I have been for 15 years. I work in the Detective Bureau. Never a dull day! Spend my days transcribing or downloading videos, audio statements or body cameras and preparing all the evidence needed for the State's Attorney in prosecution. Love the people I work with! It takes a special "warped" sense of humor to survive there! LOL Luckily my father, who was also a policeman, passed that on to me!!
I met my current husband, Mark, in 2000 and we were married in 2007. (He was supposed to be a blind date for my best friend, but she passed up the offer!!) I received three wonderful step-children in the process and we have 4 grandchildren, 12, 8, 4, 15 months and one due in July 2016. I was an only child, but I also got Mark's huge family in the process - love them to death!! Grandparenting is AWESOME!
My mother still lives in the same house as when I went to high school, so I come to SP to visit occasionally. My how it's changed!!
Mark and I enjoy traveling to warm weather a couple times a year. Feels good on these old bones!! Hope to do that more when I retire in 5 years. Mark is already retired, but actively volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. Not sure where we'll end up when I retire, but I'm pretty sure it won't be Illinios. Scouting things out. Used to think I wanted to move to Wisconsin north woods, but I can't handle the cold anymore!
Life is good!!
