UW-Madison(1958-62)Sociology. Married Lynne Purdy 1963. UC-Berkeley(1964-65) Career #1:Book Buyer, Madison; Career #2: Juvenile Court Worker, Madison; Career #3: Publisher's Sales Rep and YA Novelist. We lived 2.5 years in San Francisco Bay Area and all the rest in Madison/Middleton. Still seeking a good publisher for 2 more Young Adult Adventure-Fantasy novels. I like to write, to walk, to sing, to think. I am open to spiritual growth and metaphysical healing.
Oct. 2011 update: Fantasy(14-up)ETERNAL RIVER, comes out Nov., 2011, under Amazon Pub.'s CreatSpace imprint as paperback and will follow in Dec., 2011 as Kindle ebook. Story follows James from 18th birthday, following spat with girlfriend and drinking binge in a life-transforming river odyssey,a prodigal son entering a twilight zone of adventures. Although it's mostly a totally fantastic world, readers may recognize sites that inspired landmarks, etc., including Sac Prairie (Riverton), Angel's Lake (Devil's Lake) and of course, the river itself. Another Fantasy (14-up), SCATHE, will come out later this year under the same imprint. Thank you classmates, for spreading the word!
New novel, "Scathe!" on Amazon.com as of Jan.4, 2012, an all ages(14-up) Fantasy-Adventure, which follows African-Amer. teen, Oscar Lincoln, from prison (RCI) to prehistoric times. He's followed there by prison therapist, Jessica Blue, to bring him back to his time and place.
