Work History:

Dec 1963- Dec 1965 US Army Intelligence S2/G2

Jan 66 Started work on Government contract with Navy Department as writer-editor on Navy Nuclear Submarine ship information books and instruction manuals.

Interviews by the Navy contract authorities led to a job for Naval Intelligence as writer –editor. I was a full time Navy Department employee at Washington Navy Yard, Washington , DC in various Navy Agencies until September 1996.

During 1970 thru 1977 was a member of the Metropolitan Police Department as a Police Reserve Officer as Sergeant and acting Lieutenant . Was activated to regular police status during various riots during that time.

October 1996 Retired at Washington Navy Yard and was asked to join Central Intelligence Agency as I was leaving the Navy. After additional background checks and new clearances worked from Dec 96 to July 99 as an armed guard at CIA facility at Washington Navy Yard. At this time new contractors recruited me for work that put me at Headquarters CIA – Langley, VA. Martha also was selected for work at the CIA. We both ended activity with CIA October 2009.


Items of interest:

Married on 24 April 1971 to Martha Lou Keating. Celebrated 40 years . Two children - a daughter, Eleanor and a son, Frank. Eleanor is in Virginia and Frank is in California. Both are college graduates.

Favorite hobby---TRAVEL This year, Martha and I finally visited all 50 states of the United States by seeing Washington-Oregon and Idaho.We love ship cruises—all over Caribbean – Alaska-Hawaii-European Cruises..
