Today's Featured Biography
Diane Kaszolka Matter
I have been a federal government employee now for the past 3 years. I enjoy my work in the Systems Security Group: Information Systems Risk Assessments, System Security Plans, performing security reviews for all the Medicare Contractors. Many big names you'll recognize and places I have reviewed the security of their national Data Centers are EDS, IBM, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Trailblazers, Cigna, and there are many more. In my 25+ year career in the computer field, I have worked with many, many large firms, government agencies, and DoD. I have my MBA with a concentration in Computer Information Systems, also having my MCSE and CISSP.
One of my passions is scuba diving and underwater photography. I have traveled around the world with a group of friends who all scuba dive, and most take pictures under water, too.
When not on vacation or working, I am into physical activity and fitness, healthy eating and my grandchildren topping my list of favorites - and not necessarily in that order. I walk at least 3-5 miles and/or climb at least 20 flights of stairs daily (I take the stairs rather than the elevators). On some weekends I go kayaking with my daughter who also lives locally or with friends. On other weekends with weather permitting, I spend lots of time with my grandchildren in or around my pool.
