Today's Featured Biography
Deborah Ware Carlson
I arrived on North 58th Street in late August of 1966 and off to my senior year at Washington High School I went. Very alone. My father had been a career officer in the USAF and retired from Scott AFB in Belleville, IL where I attended 8th, 9th, 10th and part of my junior year - then to Milwaukee.
I love the city and it was a great time to be there. I lived there until September of '68 and then back to New Hampshire where we were from. During senior year I had a crush on Dwight Van Dale (I know along with all the other ladies)and dated Eric Zaun for the year. Had a magical prom night with Eric.
Got married back in NH in Dec of '69 - divorced a year and a half later. Had an amazing work career and remarried at age 36 in 1985 and became a stay at home wife. My only child, a daughter, Alexandra, was born in Oct of 1987. Lead a privileged life until my divorce in 2004 when I couldn't stand being married to a Jehovah's Witness any longer - Very lonely life for me.
Went back to work and Viola! here I am. Moving back to Mascoutah (Belleville), IL this August (2010) and long to be with my friends there who because of the wonderful internet I have kept in contact with all these years. Opps, in August 2014 I again moved to a warmer clime to Scottsdale, AZ. I think I will stay here.
