Today's Featured Biography
Rebecca Chekouras
Hey, everybody. Sending good wishes from California where Steve Heidt tracked me down, dogged private eye that he is about these reunions. I can’t even begin to compress the last 50 years into this little box and won’t try. So I’ll share some deets on what’s going on now using public info anyone can find. The author statement I use when I publish is below. If you Google my name you’ll be directed to several short stories (god, the early ones are so cringe worthy but, hey, somebody picked them up). Not all literary magazines are online so some of my best stories have not been digitized. Almost everything I post to Facebook is public and gives anyone who cares to look a good idea of what I’m up to. Please don’t send a friend request. I’m not likely to pick it up but you can’t take it personally. I try to confine that firehose to artists and writers. Also keep in mind recreational marijuana is legal in California and sometimes things I find hilarious just splat onto the page and die there. On Instagram I’m rchek and on Twitter (rare, random posts) RChekouras. Best wishes for a fun reunion.
Cheers,
Rebecca

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
