Today's Featured Biography
April Ritter
Halfway through our Senior Year, I moved away and married Brent Boling (class of 96). He was stationed at Ft. Polk, LA, where I lived for 6 months until he went to Korea for a year. I was lucky enough to have enough credits before I left, that I was still able to come back home and walk with the class to graduate even though I didn't attend the whole last half of the year.
Brent and I were married for 3 years, and divorced in 2001.
After my divorce, I attending Grays Harbor Community College for a year, while raising a daughter by myself. Ashley, who is now 7. I landed a job with the college during that time, and worked in their office at the Simpson Education Center in Elma, for 3 years following that.
Not long after that year, I became reacquainted with an old friend from 4-H, Joshua Terry. Him and I have been together for 6 years now, and have 2 children together. Lauryn is 4, and Logan will be 2 in June. He has 2 children from a previous marriage, Zaine is 12 and Morgaine is 9.
We lived in Portland for a while, where I was an Associate Student Manager, for an online college. I loved that job, but moved back to Grays Harbor to be closer to family. I was a stay at home mom for about a year, and recently have went back to work, and am currently working for the Chehalis Tribal Head Start, in Oakville. I'm very fortunate, Josh is employed by them as well as their Construction Maintainence Technician. So we are lucky we now work the same hours, and can carpool! We live in McCleary and have for the last 2.5 years.
