Martha Cunningham Black

I am very involved with Every Home for Christ, a ministry attempting to put the gospel in every home in the world. They have worked in 218 countries and completed 101 of those countries. I am also involved with Wycliffe Bible Translators who do awesome work translating God's word for those who do not have it.

I am active in HOTPACS, which is a Parkinson's support group. (My husband, Earl, had Parkinson's.) I do their monthly newsletter, their phone book, and some correspondence. One night a week I participate in a prison ministry for young men in Mart, Texas. We sure could use you if you are interested in such a ministry.

I have been writing for years, mostly for children, but I have also written an adult biblical fiction book that is being published. The name of the book is "The Views of the Cross and Tomb." This book gives the reactions of different characters to the crucifixion and the resurrection. Tate Publishing is publishing it and the release date is 5/2/16. Watch the paper and try to come to my signing.

Another book, "Little Missy" has been accepted for publication. It is in the process of being edited. It is a chapter book for preteens and is about a girl with Guillian-Barre syndrome and how a friend helps her get on her feet using miracles.

My husband died of Parkinson's in 2006. I now live alone and am perfectly content and in good health. I have three daughters, one son-in-law, a granddaughter, two grandsons, two grand-daughters-in-law, three great-grandsons, and two dogs. Precious is a rescue and Suzee was picked up off the street and in terrible shape. God is very good!
