Today's Featured Biography
Corey Goodwin
I’ve been married twice. The first one lasted one year. I’m still in my second marriage. My wife’s name is Colyn (Sunnie) Goodwin. I met her in March 1992 while I was stationed at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming and we were married on the afternoon of December 25, 1992 in front of my parents Christmas tree in Orange. One thing notable about her is she was born on Friday the 13th and her maiden name is Bates (no I’m not kidding, Bates as in Bates Motel) and when she was growing up, her mother was known as old lady Bates. No one messed with them or gave them any trouble.
We never had any kids of our own, but she had a son and daughter from two previous marriages. Her son lived with his dad for his first 16 years, but I have raised her daughter as my own for the last twelve of her twenty years and now our daughter (Amber) is about to make us grandparents in May of this year (2005). Sunnie has been a great wife. She was very supportive of not only my military career, but also my education after I retired from the Air Force. After I retired, I used my VA entitlements to go back to school full-time and get my college degrees. Not only did she help me get though school in one-way or another, but she done it while attending school as a full-time student herself. Now that I have graduated, I would like to work for NASA in Houston, but I would settle for a job as a military civilian somewhere in Texas. We plan to ultimately retire back in Orange.
I still ride motorcycles and presently have a 94’ Honda PC 800, which I have done a little customization to. I also still collect coins and like to shoot guns. Some may remember back in school I was a member of a youth group sponsored by the Masons called The Order of DeMolay. Well I went on and became a Mason and Shriner when I was old enough, but continued to work with the DeMolays as an advisor over the years both here in the U.S. and Europe. I’m also a perpetual member and Past Master of my Masonic Lodge. Well that’s some of my highlights.
Update (Aug 1, 2005): Well I am now working as a military civilian (Air Force Civilian), but not in Texas, yet. I'm working for the A-Team as a tool and parts attendant with KC-135 Strad-o-tankers on Altus Air Force Base in Altus, Oklahoma, but am actively seeking civil service employment in Texas.
I am also a new Grandpa. My grandson is named Luke Thomas (LT) for short. He is grandpa's little Lieutenant and is now 9 weeks old.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
