Today's Featured Biography
Chandra Logsdon Carmack
Wow it's been over 18 yrs! And now here I am with one son and a stepson and step daughter in highschool! Sure does bring back memories teaching them to drive, what a nightmare, haha ! Anyway, I'm married to my dream guy and the love of my life, Toby Carmack. He's originally from Tennessee...GO TITANS !!! He has been in the United States Marine Corps for 19 yrs and that just makes me down right proud ! I have 3 children, Bobby, 16; Lizzy, 13; and Sadie, 11. Toby also has 3, James, will be 16 in Dec; Kaitlynn 14; and Laurann is 11. We married October 11, 2003, just making 5 yrs last month, and our marriage has been richly blessed by God. I was previously married to Steven Kelley, and for those of you who remember I dated him my junior and senior yrs of highschool, he was from Lufkin. We were married for almost 12 yrs, but due to growing apart and just alot of bad decisions, we divorced. Through the Lords forgiveness and grace "all things have worked out for the good" ! Toby and I have such great kids... Bobby plans to join the Marine Corps when he graduates, James ( a major football finatic ) plays 3 different positions on his varsity team which is undefeated, and dreams of becoming a Tennessee Volunteer when he graduates, Kaitlynn plans to become a Lawyer ( hoping to be JAG ) a lawyer for the military, Lizzy wants to follow my path (aaww) and become a Cosmetologist, Sadie sings like an angel and wants to sing for Jesus on the radio one day, and last but not least, Laurann wants to become a veterinarian one day !
It's been an adventure being married to a Marine! He came to Texas and married me, took me to North Carolina where he was stationed at Marine Corps Air Base Cherry Point, NC, where he was serving as an instructor for C-130 airplanes ( HUGE airplanes that carry tanks and many supplies overseas to our fighting forces ). We were there for 2 years and then came to Hammond, LA where he served as a Marine Corps Recruiter and now is finishing his career at Naval Air Base Belle Chasse, LA where he is once again keeping those C-130's maintained! He retires this upcoming July 2009 and we are praying about moving home to "TEXAS" ! I miss home so much ! But home has been where the Marine Corps has sent us, and I'm proud to be a part of it!
Toby and I are charter members of CMA (Christian Motorcyclist Association) Chapter "Christ's Cavalry" of Hammond, LA. We ride a Harley Davidson Sportster 1200, which will soon be all mine, as he wants something bigger. So I'm in the process of learning to ride on my own. I suppose you could consider it the beginning of mid-life crisis, ha !
We are members of Woodland Park Baptist Church, also of Hammond, where I am a member of the Choir and Praise Team ! Christ is the center of our home and family ! Without Him we could do nothing !
I look forward to seeing all of you at the next reunion! I didn't know about our ten year one so I'm really glad Shannon Smith sent me the link to this website! Check out my myspace if you'd like to see pics of my BIG family, lol. God Bless !

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
