Today's Featured Biography
Karen Davis Day
Since school, I have been raising my two children, working, and a little bit of traveling. I am a RN at Siskin Hospital and have worked there for 11 Years. I hope to visit overseas one day.
My family:
My children now are grown. My daughter is 28 and my son is 25. I have one grandchild, Christopher Kaleb, whom is 8 months old and a real joy in my life. I am single at the present time.
Life experiences:
The birth of my own children of course and the birth of my grandson. Being at my son's homecoming in San Diego, California when his Marine unit flew in from Kawait and being able to hug and kiss him. My trip to California and my recent one to New York City. The times I have spent with my family that I will always cherish, especially my dear grandparents, my father, and my sister, Jimmye, which are no longer with us.
My favorite things in school:
Listen to music, go to concerts, hang out with my friends, and I enjoyed my art classes the most with Mrs. Lewis and Sinclair Ashley. I believe that was his name. I would have to get out my year books! And of course summer vacation.
My favorite things now:
Travel, my job most of the time, going to yard sales, doing things with my friends and family like camping, walking around the city, eating out at really good restaurants. Oh I also love to cook.
My favorite books, movies and music:
I listen to music most of the time, and enjoy several different sounds. I will occasionally go to a movie and I have seen a couple of broadway plays. My favorite musicians are froms the 70,s 80,s mainly soft rock. I also have a few favorite country artists mainly Rosanne Cash.
