Life is great here in Manning, South Carolina. I guess small town living is just what Emry and I needed. When Greg and I got married we moved to Manning and plan to stay, in hopes, happily ever after!
After living in Raleigh for about two years and working for Hensel Phelps Emry and I needed to be closer to home so we moved to Florence, South Carolina and I started working as a Insurance Sales Rep. for Farm Bureau Ins. for about two years, then was transferred to Lake City as Senior Agent, for a year, but do to health issues we decided to leave Florence and make a home here. We have been happier ever since!
Currently working on renovating our house - Nightmare! But as we get closer to the finish line it is worth it! Gutted Kitchen and it's done now working on living room/dining room - Hope to be completely done by Christmas!
Just 15 minutes from the lake where we can be found most weekends and during the summers as well. Emry is enjoying LMA and taking Dance and Swimming lessons year round.
I volunteer at LMA in every way I can, which keeps me at the schoolhouse on a daily basis. We just got through Football season during which I coached the B-Team Cheerleaders, Emry really enjoyed it - they made her feel like she was one of the girls!
Greg works at Heather Brooke w/Matt and Jay Wilder importing furniture and shipping it all over US. He loves his job and the people he works w/are just great - We could not ask for anything better than that!
I love being at home and am very lucky that I can be w/Emry anytime she needs me - would not give that up for anything! I think Greg likes as well - nothing bad about coming home to your family and a good home-cooked meal!
