After leaving the hallowed halls of WA, I set out to find my fortune at Clemson (along with 7 of my WA classmates). After 3.5 fun-filled, crazy years, I left Tigertown with a degree in English and a minor in Communications. Tim and I were married in May of 1992. Believe it or not, my first "real" job was back at WA as a middle school/jr. high teacher. However, the teaching profession was not for me and I went to work at the hospital here as Community Relations Manager. After Jay was born, I worked part-time at our church as the Youth and Children's Ministries Director. For the last 6 years, I have been employed at Santee Electric Cooperative as the Community Relations Manager. Tim works at Santee Cooper as the Superintendent of Technical Services for Cross Generating Station. He is a mechanical engineer.
Our boys keep us on the go! Life is crazy when you have a preteen and a preschooler in the same home! Not to mention a very active, sports-obsessed 8 year old!
We are very blessed to live right down the road from my mom and dad and they are very active in our family's daily life. They are also great babysitters.
Our older boys got to WA and Henry is in pre-school at our church. We live right across the street from the school and still manage to max out on tardies.... some things never change!
I have enjoyed visiting the website and catching up with old friends. I can't wait to see more profiles and pictures. It will be great to see everyone again in April. Make plans to be there! BTW, we tried to rent out Hagwood's but it's now Sandi Altman's house and I don't think she'd let us....Does anyone know where the BS stamp is? We could use it at the reunion for old time's sake!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
