Today's Featured Biography
Tricia Walker Kraemer
As many of you may know, although I attended Ashland schools with y'all from 5th grade at Walker School to Junior year at AHS, my Dad was transferred to Union Creek (Forest Service) in the summer of 66, and I graduated with my class of 12 Seniors at Prospect High School. I appreciate being included in AHS reunions.
In the years since, I was married to Dennis Bjurstrom (AHS class of 67) for four years just after graduation. We divorced, sadly, and I was later married to John Kraemer (for 20 years). He is unknown to all of you unless you met up with me in those years, and we had four children, the first being identical twin boys. We also divorced, 1993. I live alone for now, but I miss the companionship of a significant other, and will welcome another into my life if I'm so blessed.
My oldest child, Shane, passed away in December 2013 from cancer. Shawn, Mandy and Jessica all live in southwest Washington, and between them have blessed me with five grandchildren. Fortunately, with the technology of the internet, we are able to keep in touch daily if we want to, but it's always nice for the in-person visits.
Both of my parents have now passed on, my Dad in 1996 and my Mom in 2005. Through the years, in addition to owning my own business a few times, I also worked as a secretary for many years, in both schools and churches. And I have done a variety of other jobs that were interesting to learn and do, such as production planner for a printed circuit board plant, school monitor, strawberry picker and cow milker, not all at the same time! I'm pretty much retired now, though still occasionally answer the call to help someone who needs a computer fix.
