To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition, to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." Ralph Waldo Emerson

Today's Featured Biography
Bonnie Green Zimmerman
I tried to live in Portland for a short while after high school, but missed The Valley. So I returned to work for the City of Medford, and then for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). I met the loves of my life, Owen and his 7-year-old son, in 1976 and transferred to BLM in Eugene after our marriage. My BLM career took us to Portland where I retired after 35 years. Owen finally retired from the auto repair shop he owned in Tualatin. We built a home in Dundee. Now I concentrate on our grandchildren -- and the rest of the family.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
