Today's Featured Biography
JODY MACCOLLISTER STONEBROOK
After graduation I attended SOU for 2 years. Bob Thomas (Class of '61) and I married in 1965. We had 2 girls, Brianna (1965) and Danica (1968). In 1984 Brianna was killed in a car accident in Alaska. We were divorced in 1983. I attended SOU for another 1 1/2 years.
I married Philip, a family practice physician in Ashland, in 1985. I've worked as a legal secretary, administrative assistant, court clerk and facility manager throughout my life, retiring in 1999. We sold our house in Ashland and moved to Joseph, Oregon where we enjoyed gardening, fishing, reading and traveling. Philip died tragically in a kayaking accident in 2011.
August 2018 I had hip tendon surgery. November 1, 2018 I moved into Touchmark. December 28, 2018 I sold my Ashland house. January 3, 2019 I had spinal surgery. All’s well with me now!!
Moving into independent living at Touchmark at Mt. Bachelor Village in Bend has been the best move! I now live a mile from my daughter Danica and her family. My grandkids are now 16, 21, and 23.
