Today's Featured Biography
Charles Gillentine Jr.
After graduation, I worked for OTASCO, Sutton Lincoln Mercury, auto parts stores and auto service shops before opening my own auto repair facility.
I married a graduate of PO HI class of 1984 which was my high school sweetheart, Tami Endsley.
We have 4 children, and 7 grandchildren.
In 2009, I received an email from her at 3am, asking if I remembered her from high school. I wrote her back very excited as I had been looking for her since graduation. One thing led to another, and I uprooted from Ponca City, and moved to Owasso in September of 2009.
We were married in late 2010 and these last 3 1/2 years have been a thrill ride! We have done a lot of traveling out west.
In April of 2010, I weighed 406 pounds, I had bariatric surgery and 2 hours after recovery, I no longer had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and as of today (January 5, 2014) I weigh 230! I went from a size 60 jeans, to a 36! Thank you Drs JoeBob Kirk, and Brandon Varnell, and the great folks at "New Beginnings"
I am very active in my church, Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, and very passionate about my bowling.
UPDATE:
Although still married, I have taken a position with an auto dealership in Dallas as a Service Drive Manager.
Tami still lives in Oologah, and we also have a home here in Tx, five hours apart. Let me tell you, SUX!
Tami and I go to Las Vegas every July to bowl in a team championship.
