Today's Featured Biography
Melanie Combrink Harris
Mike and I have been married 30 years('83). We've moved 18 times since then, (and no, we're not in the military). We just like fixing up homes and moving around.
Our girls are nearly grown and living on their own. The youngest, Brooke (90) is married, in college and about to graduate with Business and Communications degrees. Lauren (87) will marry in 2014, and works in Grand Prairie, TX. Our girls are great friends and live 2 miles apart.
After school, raising kids, moving around, I worked in the Flooring industry for 14 years, as a Designer, Sales and Retail Manager. I've since "retired" and stay busy traveling, taking care of the home, family stuff, gardening, volunteering and whatever new obsession strikes me! I have been blessed! Mike (class of 80) is an Engineer Manager at Bell Helicopter. We get to travel often, and it's becoming fun being empty nesters!
2014 begins a new phase in our lives, as we move to Oklahoma and open a franchise in Edmond, called Clothes Mentor. Come by after April, and check us out!
We no longer have family in Ponca City, so we look forward to checking in!
LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING TOGETHER WITH OLD FRIENDS, LONG LOST FRIENDS, and all my CRAZY Facebook Party Palace Buddies! ;-)
