William Michael Leebron II died July 6, 2013. He died unexpectly in his home in Columbia, TX. Took a nap and didn't wake up.

1966: Graduated from Oklahoma University, BS in special education, mental retardation.
1967: Graduated from the University of Louisville, MA in special education, mental retardation.
1967-70: 1st lieutenant U.S. Army military intelligence. One tour in Vietnam.
1970-74 Training specialist on the special education staff at the University of Northern Colorado. Married Bonnie (one of my students) in 1973. Got my doctorate in special education, emotionally disturbed, 1973.
1974-77: Training specialist on the special education staff at the University of Kentucky. Bonnie and I had our son John in 1976.
1977-2002: Special education and regular education teacher for Cherry Creek School District. Taught a self-contained class of severely emotionally disturbed primary children. Special education consultant for six elementary schools for four years. Taught elementary for seven years and ended my career teaching 7th grade social studies for nine and a half years. Divorced Bonnie in 1984 and married Barb in 1986.
We had our daughter Sarah in 1987.
2002-present: Enjoying retirement life. It is the only way to go through life. Barb retired in May, 2009. We have a travel trailer and spend a lot of time in the mountains camping, biking, hiking, and climbing 14,000+ foot mountains. We just finished (Oct., 2009) a 6,300 mile trip back east and visited the maritime provinces of Canada.
I enjoy reading the ECHS website and want to thank Dal and everyone else that has had an input in putting this site together.
