Kirsty Lochhead

Ok, I figured I should write more after reading a couple other bio's....

I went to OU after high school - did the 5 year plan b/c I couldn't decide what I wanted to do. I didn't have a job when I graduated so I moved back in with my parents to Mississippi - and then of course found nothing there - so moved back to Ohio. I took a job as an industrial engineer in Fremont and bought a condo on the lake in Port Clinton (umm... I was 24 and the youngest in the building by about 40 years.. haha). Lived there for a couple years and in 1998, moved to Nashville for 2 years to do my MBA at Vanderbilt.

From Nashville, I moved with my fiance to Florida in 2000 and took a job with Tropicana in finance. Actually - this is probably my biggest regret as I wanted to work in i-banking in NY, but the fiance didn't want to move there. Needless to say we broke up shortly thereafter and that was 2001, so perhaps that was a good thing afterall to not be in NY at that time.

I lived in Florida for 4 years on the water in St Pete with my dog (loved seeing the dolphins every day)and again was the youngest in the complex by 40 years or so ;) Turns out that was a good thing in Ohio as nosy neighbors are actually good to have around when you're renting your place out to bad tenants (as I discovered). I decided to sell my place in Port Clinton b/c it was too hard to manage from Florida.

Mille (my dalmatian) and I moved with the company to Chicago in 2004 and I absolutely love living here! This is probably the best decision I have made. I have a condo in Wrigleyville - Boystown to be exact - and life is good. I've been single since I moved here, but have enjoyed the dating scene. I ran the Chicago marathon in 2005, qualified for Boston and got injured 3 weeks short of running it. I'm still trying to get over that injury but have hopes of doing another marathon and/or tri in the next year or so.

Can't wait to see everyone in August!
