Today's Featured Biography
Linda Bakos
Hi all, I've been out of Linwood for 27 years living in Connecticut. I will admit our beaches are not as good as South Jersey's, but our mountains and valleys are! Snow is a huge bonus for me and we do get a lot of it.
Marriage did not work out, but I am pleased to say my 20 year old daughter is a junior at Providence College in RI and plans on studying abroad in Copenhagen this year for public health.
Spent 13 years doing clinical research in the field of sleep, but went into hospital management and finance and I have been doing that ever since. I have been working in an inner city hospital and we do have our challenges but I love every minute. My career gives me enough flexibility to travel all over the world and do things many never get to do.
I became a fitness instructor/trainer for fun many years ago and still teach and train employees at our hospital. I hired my own trainer to get me ready for a half triathlon this coming fall. I love to do local road races, although we have hills and there is no such thing as a flat 5K course in CT. That's when I really miss South Jersey.
While CT is my home now, I do get the occasional flashback of MRHS and the area. I do get down a few times a year and enjoy my folks beach houses.
