Douglas Heiler
September 1969 - Enlisted in the U.S. Navy and joined the ranks of the Cryptologic Technicians (Maintenance).
October 1970 - Wed the former Maureen Dewees.
September 1972 - Birth of Douglas K. Heiler Jr.
October 1976 - birth of Julie Renee (Heiler) Moebius.
August 1979 - Divorced.
November 1979 - 2nd marriage Maureen Dewees.
December 31, 1989 - Retired from the U.S. Navy as a CTMCS (Senior Chief; E-8). From 1970 through 1989 served our nation in the Aleutian Islands (Adak, AK) 3-tours; Sidi Yahia, Morocco; Rota, Spain 2-tours; Honolulu, HI; and Sonoma, CA.
1997 - Commenced the journey to become a healthy and more vibrant person. Thanks to the wonders of pharmaceuticals and truly the best counselor in the world I started down the path to becoming whole.
October 2003 - 2nd divorce from Maureen.
May 2006 - Married my true love & soul mate (the former Theresa Moffa) and began the best journey any man could dream about and am living my life to its fullest. Since my Navy retirement I have worked in many fields: insurance and mutual fund sales; maintenance supervisor for GE Aerospace; Quality Control & Line Production for Sony Music; NOVELL Network Engineer and Insurance Systems IS Auditor for INS SErvices; Compliance, HIPAA & Business Compliance Specialist for Independence Blue Cross; Pharmacy Tehcnician for Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center; debt collection sales and recovery; and Realtor. Currently I manage several rental properties. Scuba enthusiast and Caribbean vacationer. Grandfather of 11.
