Hey everyone! Where to start? Hmmm...I’m now living in Cleveland (Mississippi, not Ohio!). I moved here from Jackson when Patti and I got married in June 2006. Prior to that, I’d been the Graphic Arts Manager at the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board for almost 10 years, and thought I was going to be a bachelor the rest of my days.
Patti and I met online in August 2004. She tells everyone that she shopped for me on the Internet! Yes, I finally found someone to put up with me. Seriously, I’m truly blessed by God to have such a wonderful lady as a wife and companion and I can hardly wait for everyone to meet her. She works as a computer programmer/analyst at Baxter Healthcare. Did I mention she’s cute as a bug, too?
We have an only child, but of the four-legged variety – a very pretty kitty cat named Chloe. We attend First Baptist Church here and have a wonderful, close-knit group of friends who also happen to be in our Sunday School class (which makes it very convenient!).
I’m still trying to establish a steady clientele for my freelance graphic design, but that gives me time to pursue my second career. I’ve always wanted to be author and I’m currently working on my first novel. I’ve found writing to be a lot tougher than I thought (it’s work!) but just as rewarding as I expected.
