It has been so much fun reading everyone's bio. I only hope that more will contribute. Kent and I were married for 11 years before we divorced in 1999. We have 4 great kids together, and sadly we lost a baby girl together. Courtney died moments before Valentine's Day 1991 from a congenital heart defect. It has been the hardest thing in my life to let go of her. I pray none of you have to experience the loss of a child. Even still God has blessed us with four other kids, each with their own personalities, interests and hobbies. Cody (my high school baby)is now twenty and 6'2". He towers over me, of course. He is working full time in construction and plugging away part time in college, still unsure of what he'll be when he grows up. Jake was 15 in August and is a freshman at SHS. He plays for the high school soccer team, and has been taking our family all over the midwest with ice hockey for the past 9 years (he plays left wing for all of you hockey enthusiasts). He is amazing on the ice! Riley is 13 and at SMS as an 8th grader. He is quiet and shy, loves soccer and has set a goal of achieving 4.0 GPA this year. I am so very proud of him. He is my righteous, analytical and caring son. Lindsey (Lucy) is my delight, my sunshine. She is in 7th grade at SMS. She has been in Student Council for 2 years, and was chosen as a Student Ambassador this year. She loves animals and enjoys playing basketball. Lucy is lucky to have a wall of protection from her brothers. All of my kids are very close and enjoy spending time together. I am so proud of them and have been so blessed to have compassionate and honest kids. Oh, I can't forget the "queen of our house," Angel, our calico cat. We love her so.
Me, well, I am happily divorced. Our family has experienced many losses. First was our daughter, followed by Kent's brother taking his own life in 1995. My sister, Gwyn, was then diagnosed with a rare brain defect in Feb 1996 and died in April 1996 after several brain surgeries in Pheonix. I lost my sister and best friend, buried her the day after Lindsey was born. Years later in 2001, my mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer that took her life just 10 months later. The cancer literally ate her alive (ladies, stay on top of your yearly exams and self-exams: ovarian cancer is deadly and still highly undetectable). A day doesn't go by that I don't miss my mom :( My sister, Sarah, and I were tested and carry the same gene mutation as mom for these cancers. We've been involved in a study with the National Institute of Health for prevention, diagnosis and cure of ovarian and breast cancers. So far - cancer free. Praise God! Aside from all of this, I went to MWSC and achieved my Bachelors in BioChemistry and Molecular Biology in 2005. I am now in my last year of Master's Program for Industrial Chemistry. I am currently a herbicide chemist for a St. Joe company. I just bought my first house this summer - a huge step for me. For now I am enjoying my kids (as their taxi service) and if they don't break me with college tuition, I plan to relocate and get involved with administering clinical trials. I might take a peek at patent law as well. We'll see.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone again, and please forgive me if I can't put your face and name together - I am terrible with names. And to all of you that can't make it to the reunion, I wish the best for you and your families. God bless -Tabatha

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
