Today's Featured Biography
Angie Stark Karrasch
All I can say is don't expect much from me - I've grown even fatter and uglier. After school I went to college and earned a PhD in psychology. I married John Karrasch and he became a landscape architect. He used to do urban design, but now runs his own business doing mostly residential design. We lived in Kansas City for a while, then moved to Kentucky for a few years, and now back at Fort Leavenworth KS. I have two sons-Alex (10), Jacob(7). They practice piano, guitar, and Tae Kwon Do. I joined them in Tae Kwon Do for a year, but now I practice Hap Ki Do. My family brings much joy! We love to hike, camp, swim and watch good movies! I am a research psychologist which means I conduct basic and applied research, develop training, monitor contracts, and make policy recommendations for leader development. While at Fort Knox, I studied Future Combat Systems and developed command staff team training for intelligence, surveillence, and recon using new sensor technology. More recently I developed a training on "Influence" for Foreign Security Force Advisors and I also work on projects to raise cultural awareness, self awareness and adaptability. Job allows me to travel all that I want, but gives me time with family too. Life's good. Looking forward to seeing everyone in July!
