Today's Featured Biography
Steven White
After high school, I went to SMSU in Springfield, Mo where I graduated with a BS in 1990. Then moved to Miami FL for 10 years where I received my Masters & PhD in Statistics and Industrial & Organizational Psychology.
Wife #2 is Becky (we should all get married at least once in our early 20's just for practice) who is wonderful, Type B and a perfect mix with my type A personality.
2 Daughters & 1 Son - I love more than anything else in the world, Elizabeth 5/5/01, Kathryn (Katie) 12/7/04, & Benjamin 8/13/09, 1 dog (Westie), 1 cat, and salt water fish (most of which I pulled out of the ocean myself)
After selling my consulting firm in Dallas, TX that created employment tests for Fortune 1000 companies, organizational development consulting and headhunting. I helped my father ramp down his business and go into semi-retirement.
I am now Manager of Development & Construction with CJ Development. We build apartment complexes, senior living centers, and commercial strip malls. I negotiate contracts and crunch numbers on multi-million dollar projects squeezing the most out of every dime.
For those few of you who know my background, it makes more sense. I’ve found that it is a perfect blend of my background, skills and personality. Good pay, exciting, very numbers/money oriented, and I get to play monopoly with millions of dollars of other peoples money. I also love driving by what I have built and see my work being used. Great feeling.
Hobbies: Working hard & and Playing with My Kids. Going to the Beach and Disney. What little time I have left over from that I like: Hiking, Camping, Scuba Diving, (teaching certified), Skiing, recently woodworking, and of course drinking.
