I am currently into my 2nd Iraq deployment. I have been with the 688th engineers (formerly 489th engineers) for 15 years. I spent 18 months in 2003 in Iraq. Have been married for 10 years. My little boy just turned 3, I was able to get home for leave to see him for his birthday, made for an exciting time. I am about 30 days from leaving this place. I have been Route Clearance on both tours here (road side bomb remover for those that don't know what it is). It's a rough life, but, hey some nut has to do it. I am finally getting that new Harley delivered in March. My wife is making me get ride of some of the rice burners, it's all good, can't ride them all. I have plans to be at the 20 year. I hope to see you all there. Life has made things tough to get home alot, Arkansas is so dang far. Hope I can get my golf game back in shape for the tourney, I am planning on playing.
